Driven by the desire to see women have a stronger sense of self-acceptance ignited Candace's vision for QueenLyfe Inc. In her pursuit of purpose, Candace created the L.Y.F.E. acronym which stands for Love. Yourself. First. Everyday. Candace saw a need for women to reconnect to their birthrights as "Queens" by promoting the powerful message of self-love. When Candace became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., she was able to experience and understand the power of collaboration and sisterhood.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Candace earned a Bachelor’s of Sciences in Business Marketing, and holds over 15 years of experience within financial services. Because Candace understands the importance of financial literacy, and credit education, she is determined to equip her community with tools to make informed financial decisions.
Amy Malkan-Board Chair
Amy Malkan is a Houston native, public artist, and professional speaker.
Through her unwavering passion of self-development and ability to deliver powerful messages through a creative perspective, she created interactive, experiential, creative, team building workshops, The Malkan Group, LLC. These programs use various creative activities to make leadership concepts tangible, sustainable and applicable to everyday life, professionally and personally.
Through her art, she works with but not limited to acrylic, aerosol and mixed media to create fine art, commissions and public art for the community. When she creates every piece it is done with purpose and intention to transfer positive energy through the artwork. Her main objective is to empower the viewer to see a different perspective and
to recognize the potential within oneself. This is the philosophy of The Art of Leadership movement.
Seneca Dunmore-Membership Chair
Coined the “Pint-Sized Powerhouse”, Seneca Dunmore is a Motivational, Inspirational and Transformational Speaker, College Professor, Higher Education Connoisseur, Global Influencer, International Philanthropist, Servant Leader, Tireless Humanitarian, Ambassador of Self Empowerment and Catalyst for Change. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and is currently completing her doctorate in Higher Education. She was recently inducted into the National Honor Society and has received numerous scholarships in academia to include the Tom Joyner Scholarship, Texas Business Hall of Fame and the 40 Under 40 Award. She believes that, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”, as evident in her completion of 6 medical missions to Kenya, Angola and South Africa; where she, and numerous dedicated volunteers helped provide over 14M dollars in medical, dental, educational, and hygiene services to developing countries! Seneca is the principal speaker and owner of Seneca Dunmore, Inc., which was birthed out of her own health struggles and her desire to help others shift the paradigm of their thinking by realizing that they are more than their story.

Relationship Architect and founder of This Man, This Woman, an organization dedicated to fostering stronger marital bonds with a focus on the African-American community, Danielle alongside her husband Colby offer early marriage mentorship by way of online inspiration, virtual courses like the 7-day Marriage Detox and live events. Danielle masterfully covers the art of transitioning from high-achiever to person of impact. Pulling from her time as one of the most decorated and highly recruited players in the city of Houston to becoming a record-setting All-American player at Baylor University in Waco, TX, she speaks on The Art of Scoring and Rebounding in Life. Danielle is recognized as a Baylor Legend and was recently inducted into the Baylor Athletic Hall of Fame.
